Our Hall and Equipment Hire rates are very reasonable and help us keep the lights on, the Hall warm and the facilities up to date, clean and welcoming.
Village Hall Hire includes the free use of tables and chairs but we can also make these available for hire to be taken away for your off-site function.

- Your name
- Address
- Telephone Number
- Email address (if you have one)
- The date & time that you would like for your booking
- Brief details about your event
- Approximate number of people attending
- Any equipment hire requirements
- Any other information
Once we have your details and have confirmed availability you can either download or we will send you our Ad hoc Hire Agreement to read, sign and return. The Hire agreement provides you with all of the information you need for your Hire and contains our Standard Conditions of Hire.

A Polite Request (or two)
The Village Hall is nestled in a quiet residential area; please be kind to our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum when using the outside space or leaving the Hall (especially late at night). We’re very sorry but Essex Police advice prevents us from hiring the Hall for teenage parties.
And as for the Hall itself, all that we ask is that you leave the Hall as you found it so that’s it ready for the next person to use, think of us for your next event and recommend us to your family and friends.
